Quick Step by Step guide
Step 1: Take out the Kuey Teow, soak in a bowl of water for about 10 mins. Heatup some oil in cooking pan or wok. Then fry the Kuey Teow.
Step 2: Add some sweet sauce (Kicap Manis) for the dark look. Stir fry then set aside.
Step 3: Add oil in the same wok, add Garlic, Prawns and Chicken then stir fry until lightly cooked.
Step 4: Add the chicken stock, oyster sauce, tomato puree and tomato sauce. Continue to stir til cooked.
Step 5: Add cornstarch and 1⁄2 cup of water and mix thoroughly.
Step 6: Add vegetables and season with white pepper.
Step 7: Pour the sauce onto the kuey teow and serve.
